About the course:
This one day course will help the trained individual develop proficiency in critical incident stress care as well as introduce the novice to the psychology behind crisis counseling. The onsite program covers trends in the nature and frequency of critical incidents in the workplace, how to incorporate psychological first aid principles in response to organizations, individuals, and workgroups, how to organize response to incidents in the workplace, exercising culturally competency in the context of response to mass disasters, and how to promote resiliency and self care.
